About us

Origin Patent and Trademark Office is based in central Taiwan. We provide intellectual property, legal, trade, and other related services to official corporations, national universities, and private enterprises throughout Taiwan, Europe, the United States, and Japan.

We have always insisted on professionalism and quality, and we continue to demand the same from ourselves. There are so many patent and trademark firms out there, but the reason why we have been able to continue to grow steadily over the years is because of our core service principles (3 i):

Integrity

When providing patent services, we deal with companies’ most important and sensitive information, which we take very seriously. We are committed to protecting the best interests of our clients, and after discussing the purpose of the application with the client, we will provide a proposal that is in the best commercial interest of the company, and sincerely serve our clients.

Based on this, among the cases undertaken by our clients, more than 85% of the patents were granted in Taiwan and the United States, and many manufacturers and corporations have completed the sales and licensing of their patents, proving the value and quality of our services.

Integration

We began and continue to operate as a service provider for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and we understand that the needs of SMEs go beyond 「patent and trademark application services」.

In addition to patents and trademarks, Yuandao Group has integrated joint law and accounting firms to provide more complete legal assistance. In recent years, we have expanded our overseas integrated services as well. In 2018, we established service bases in the United States, Japan, Germany, and Australia to assist Taiwanese and overseas applicants in obtaining the 「brand and product promotion services」 that are needed after applying for a patent or trademark.

Innovation

As a company in the creative industry, there is no reason why we should stick to the same old rules and provide the same old patent and trademark application services.

Compared with other firms, we have taken the initiative to go beyond the traditional framework by developing our own technologies and methods, such as the Patent and Trademark Term Control System (W1), the Living Patent Map Matrixy™, the Project Management System (TRASC).
